Over the past few years, Jennifer has taken several courses in how to talk with animals (also known as interspecies communication). She has always had an innate ability to communicate with animals since she was little, but has not realized it until recently. When Jennifer was 7 years old, her cat Peanuts had sent an image to warn of his impending death by car. Two weeks later, Peanuts was indeed hit by a car, and died.

Always interested in the environment and nature, Jennifer grew up with animals, and worked summer jobs at Conservation authorities, and at the Toronto Zoo to pay her way through school. Jennifer pursued a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Arts in Geography from the University of Toronto and York University, Toronto, respectively.

Although currently working in an office environment, Jennifer began volunteering with feral cat rescue as the feral cats outside the office building began introducing themselves to Jennifer (they seemed to notice the invisible sign over Jennifer’s head).

After becoming a Reiki Master (Usui method) in December 2004, 2005 was the beginning of a spiritual deepening of sorts. In 2005, after web surfing and reading Penelope Smith’s book, Jennifer took beginner and intermediate classes in Toronto on animal communication. While Jennifer did receive communications here, she still felt very green, and decided to follow her teacher’s path by travelling to Spring Farm CARES in New York State. It was at Spring Farm CARES that Jennifer experienced confirmation that she was talking with the animals – receiving communications from thoroughbred horse, donkeys among others. Later course at Spring Farm CARES deepened the connection with nature and the universe, especially with a very special llama, Corrie.

Since 2005, Jennifer has practiced communicating with many animals, from local dogs and cats, to animals in China, Florida, Alberta, as well as deepening her connection with nature and the elemental world. She uses Reiki to first connect with the animal, and send healing if necessary.

Jennifer lives with her husband and feline companions in Ontario, Canada and continues to learn through courses at Spring Farm Cares or Tellington TTOUCH.
